Okay okay. To be honest, I did meet a lot of guys. Some of which asked me for my phone number! And then texted me that night. But I didn't bring my cell phone because I didn't think we were allowed to. So my adorable little sisters and Abby had a blast back home texting everyone in my contacts. REALLY EMBARRASSING. Especially the boys.
THURSDAY DAY 1: Arrive at the stake center in Illinois.
Play that one game where you try to guess the name taped to your back, using only yes or no questions. Mine was a platypus? Ammon just came up and bluntly told me what mine was. How was I suppose to guess platypus?! Then, we had to find other people with the same animal. I only found one other person with the same animal as me, which was a guy named Sky. But I also found my good friends Tayvia and Anna!!

(Tayvia is on the left, sadly I don't have a pic with Anna )
Next, we had to go do a service project, which was pulling weeds at a hospital. Fun fun!
After that, we played games in different groups. The games I played involved getting WET. But it was good because it was scorching outside.
Then, it was dinner and then the DANCE.

On our way to the dance... classic Aaron McConeghay face!

Typical boys from my ward, especially Ammon... Haha

OooooOoOooOh. Arm Wrestling. I was the one encouraging it.

Then everyone started chanting, "Honore! Honore!" So I just had to arm wrestle probably the biggest guy there. His name was Tanner and I think he lifts whales instead of weights. Just saying.
"Please go easy on me!" I whispered before we started. So I caught him by surprise when I soooooo totally WON. (with both hands and the help of Tayvia) But I still dominated.

Some people had to do a pioneer trek, like my new friends Cameron and Kara.

They had to pull wagons in 3 feet of pure mud. Luckily, I didn't do that. I went to the Nauvoo Temple and learned about the carvings and what they symbolize. It was pretty cool. Then there was another dance later that night. A lot of people asked me to dance, including an older guy named Dalton. He told me that's not really his name. "What is your real name?" I asked. He said a crazy, extremely LONG, Polynesian name that's 10 times harder to pronounce than mine. "Ya right!" I said. Then he showed me his drivers license and that's really what it was!
Also, you have to see Aaron McConeghay's dance moves. Think of Napoleon Dynamite and SpongeBob Squarepants mixed into one dancer, and that's him. I was giggling my head off at how funny he was being!

After the dance...

I love Natalie. She is hilarious and so nice! The kind of friend you must have to survive life.

Haha I had SOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun at Youth Conference. The last day, Saturday, was testimony meeting. Tayvia and I went up together, and had to wait on the stand for 40 minutes because there was so may people sharing their testimony, which was awesome. Kendra, who is HILARIOUS, kept making me laugh and said the funniest things. During the slideshow with all the pictures of YC, she'd stand up and shout, "Oh ya! That's ME!" I was laughing so hard. Then a picture of me dancing with Daniel Fillmore (love him!) came up, and everyone said, "Awwwwww!!!" It was pretty great.
Sadly, my leader, Sister Whitney, made us leave right away. I said goodbye to all my new friends and then got in the car. I'm really sad that it's over.
Sincerely,
Honore
