Country Corn Boil!

Initially, we were going to leave Iowa on Thursday. But I kept inviting friends over to my house to help me NOT pack. So then I can never leave. My friends are awesome. :)

On Friday, we went to the Corn Boil! Basically, everyone brought a bunch of corn to pig out on at this little shindig. Corn is very popular in Iowa because it's grown EVERYWHERE you look. Needless to say, there was a LOT of corn.

Right when I arrived, Abby, who is very saucy, shoved watermelon down my shirt because she thought I had already left but I never told her I didn't. Haha so I tried to get her back by shoving watermelon down her shirt. But no. When I try to get payback, it splatters and hits Brother Peterson! Yay. I got a little talking to, while Abby and everyone else laughed their head off. Oh joy.

So I tried giving Abby the silent treatment and just played with her little sister, Aliyah. I love Aliyah. We are best friends. She always asks me when we're gonna go shopping together. Haha whenever she sees my sister, Lyric, with outstretched arms ready to give her a hug shouting, "ALIYAH!!!!" Aliyah accuses Lyric saying, "Ugh! You're not Honore!!" What an imposter!

Abby and I later became BFFFL's again, and got Taylor's 3-way walkie talkies and played hide and go seek at the park with Taylor, who was wearing bright green. It wasn't too challenging to find him. Haha but it was so much fun!
