1st Day of February

I'm just gonna come right out and say it: I LOVE VALENTINE'S DAY. It's one of my favorite holidays. Not because couples get all mushy gushy romantic and I'd love to get a card from that special someone, but mainly because of my family's traditions. My family has to say "I love you" to each other everyday. As simple as it is, it helps bring my family closer together.

Also, Valentine's Day decorations are too cute! The annual cards passed out at school are adorable. (Even though I'm a freshman, I still pass out cards. I'm very old fashioned.) And last but not least, my mom makes the most phenomenal sugar cookies. Simply heaven-on-earth.
