Achilles Heel

Alright... I caved. Even though it's missionary week, I GOT ON THE COMPUTER. I know I know, I'm a rotten egg. But before making any judgments, hear me out. I'M SUPER SICK. Legitly lethal. Deathly ill. The verge of being the next mortuary costumer.

Haha okayyy not that sick... But I feel pretty crumby. :/ I cough until I can't breathe and I'm gonna be the reason tissues become extinct. It is AWFUL.

So what's a girl gonna do while being sick? Well since it's missionary week, I can't watch tv, listen to good ole Jack Johnson, text muh frans, admire cute pics on facebook, play with the iPad, NOTHING. I'm like a caveman without fire. I literally have NOTHING TO DO.

It's day 3 of my severe illness and I've just had it. I'M BORED OUT OF MY MIND. So I got on the computer. Yeah that's right. I'm one bad apple. But you know what? I have an excuse. Brother Bonham will understand...

Also, there's something I wanna say. Today's society lacks common courtesy.

No one practices good manners anymore! For example, nowadays people assume that because you're "good friends" with someone means you can be rude to them because "you're really good friends". Teasing and tormenting have superseded complimenting and building one another up. It kills me! Sure it can be funny sometimes. But constant jokes about how dumb or ill-educated someone is, AREN'T FUNNY. Let's just all be nice. Okay?

In addition, having good manners means you're willing to put others before yourself. If someone at school asks you to go to the library with them, you should be polite and go. It takes courage in asking. The same goes for if someone asks you to hang out. Obviously, they wanna hang out with you. Why else would they ask? So say YES, instead of, "Meh, I don't feel like it." I think if we all abide by these basic concepts, the world can be a much more peaceful place.

Now, you're probably thinking "Whoa there Honore". Haha I didn't write this because it's been happening in my life. (I just saw an inspirational movie) But it needed to be said! We should all strive to be nice to each other. :)

Love,
illy Jilly
