What the trek?!

At first, I was superrrr nervous to go on the trek. I mean, pulling heavy handcarts all day in the hot sun and then sleeping on the dirt ground? No thanks. Not to mention I heard rumors that everyone was CRYING because it was so hard and a lot of the girls had to be carried. Uhhh YIKES!

Fortunately, that didn't happen. It really wasn't all that bad. In fact, I thought it was fun! I had the best "family" ever, and the BEST ward ever.
Avalon doesn't quit!

Here's some pics for your enjoyment:

Overall, I really loved going on the trek. It was such a great spiritual experience for me and really helped me with some things. I am so thankful for the gospel in my life. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teaches the truth and I'm so happy to be apart of it. The pioneers are such an inspiration to me and have taught me to be more grateful, even though I only trudged along for 3 days when they had to for months. Wow. Simply amazing. But hey, with God, anything is possible. :)

Love,
Honore the pioneer
