STUCO Convention

For those of you that don't know, I'm in student council and we had a convention on Thursday! (stuco convention= competition to be the best student council by showing off banners, flags, scrapbooks of what happened during the year, etc. )

IT WAS SO MUCH STINKIN FUN.

We were actually there 3 hours before the dinner/event, so we had a lottaaa time to kill.

Killing time = taking pictures.

Haha it was greattt. Later we had a fancy lil dinner with waiters and the whole shabang. But what's a dinner without a show?! A magician/ motivational speaker came and performed for us. He asked for a volunteer and I was chosen! He gave me 8 books to choose from. Then flipped through the pages, not looking at them, until I said stop. I then chose a word on the page.

"Now spell the word out in large letters across the room." He told me as he started writing on a sketch pad. Once he finished, he asked me my word, prowling, and then flipped his sketch pad for the audience to see. IT HAD THE WORD PROWLING ON IT. I stood there gaping in amazement. It was stupendous!

Afterwards we had a dance party. Hollaaaaa!

Super fun. Our school won Master Council! :)

(that's the highest award for those that aren't fluent in student councialism)
