It was my dad's and my Aunt Judy's birthday!
Happy Birthday daddykins! Here's 48 reasons why I love my papi:
1. He is an extremely hard worker. I don't know anyone else in the world that works as hard as him.
2. He is very forgiving.
3. His thinking is very unique and creative.
4. We still have tickle fights.
5. He's fun to make jokes with.
6. He teaches me patience.
7. He buys me nice things.
8. He's always interested in what I have to say.
9. He calls me Honore Nicole de Loncre. And he says that all the girls in my family's middle name is Morgen, after my mom, because he loves my mom sooooo much.
10. He likes all the same candy bars as I do! (Hehehe...)
11. When my mom is out of town or something and he does grocery shopping, he ALWAYS buys donuts and ice cream.
12. He lets me steal his donuts and ice cream. (and candy bars)
13. He has long eyelashes. (Thank you for giving me that trait dad!)
14. He's taught church primary for about 15 years, and let's me help sometimes.
15. He gets really interested in the latest electronics, especially Apple products (yay for me!)
16. He loves reading the news and telling me about what happened with Tiger Woods or other celebrities.
17. He listens to Beyonce.
18. He likes to go the extra mile to embarrass me, even though I love him too much to ever be embarrassed.
19. He speeds when he drives.
20. His stories start with, "Now when I was growing up..."
21. He teaches me to be grateful for everything.
22. He loves his mother a ton.
23. He loves me a ton.
24. His favorite child is the one that gives him a hug when they see him. (me!)
25. He encourages me to go to church activities.
26. He makes me sit through 2 hours of an opera performance and I ask, "Dad why aren't you going?"
"Are you kidding? Uhh I have things to do." Haha
27. My dad ALWAYS picks on me to do chores for him.
28. He supports me in doing extracurricular activities.
29. He "grounds" me for getting an A-. Haha nice try Dad.
30. He really likes talking about how our neighbor just signed a $140 million contract with the Boston Red Sox.
31. He prefers Coco Puff cereal for breakfast, even though he's not a kid anymore.
32. Instead of buying things for himself, he thinks of his kids first.
33. He spoils my mom.
34. His favorite saying is, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
35. He has had a really hard life but still finds joy to smile at me everyday.
36. He looks for the good in things. Always.
37. I've never heard him complain.
38. He's artistic.
39. He designs and builds custom homes and they're gorgeous.
40. I love his laugh.
41. He's a sucker for little babies, and chocolate.
42. For him, SAFETY comes FIRST no matter what.
43. He's smart.
44. He reads his scriptures everyday.
45. He continuously follows this saying, "Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without."
46. He's not the best singer, but he still belts out all the hymns at church.
47. He loves his family very much.
48. I know he would do anything for me, and I would do anything for him.
I wouldn't trade my dad for anything in the whole entire world. I love him.
